Abstract
The biological synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) plays an important role in their applications in medicine, particularly in prevention the spread of cancer cells and disease-causing microbial pathogens. Due to their low toxicity, the stable, green synthesis of AgNPs is greatly appreciated in the medical field. As a result, biologically synthesized AgNPs are in high demand. The AgNPs synthesized from the seed extract of Trigonellafoenum-graecum L were characterized by UV–vis, SEM, XRD, FTIR, and EDAX analysis. In this chapter to determine their antimicrobial mechanisms and anticancer properties.
Keywords
Green synthesis, Fenugreek seed extract, Silver nanoparticles, Characterisation, Antibacterial activity and Anti cancer activity.
